Craft Project for Daughters school

So my oldest daughter is in a contest at her school for Squash decorating! SO she decided she wanted it to be dressed up as Albert Einstein as we though tof how to decorate it and a little help from Papa. We finally got it. We think she will fal into 3 categories for a possible win.... The harriest, Most historical, and Her schools Favorite. Here is her squash...

I need to get on Track

Urghhh!!! today was a major fail. I accomplished pretty much nothing, however i did mail off my two bows for my giveaway winners. I have a few plans in mind for up and coming giveaways... maybe some new ideas or creations. I guess we will have to stay tuned and see.

Family Visits

Well I have been busy the last few days my parents flew in and we had a great visit. Sorry I hadnt been on here. So I am going to be posting my Succullent Saturdays post today since I missed out on it yesterday.

Painted a picture.....

I painted a picture for my girls bathroom, nothing to fancy pretty simple geometric shapes actually! The girls love it and it matches their bathroom. So here ya go...

Giveaway Ideas?

I am in the process of making a bow for a giveaway. I was wondering if we should do Halloween or Christmas themed bow? What do you all think? Maybe do one at a 100 fans and one at 200 fans ?

YAY! I did it !!

It only took me the better part of the evening to get it all figured out but I now have a Store Front on my Facebook page.... What does that mean? You can buy my bows directly through Facebook! I know holy cow right!?!?! Well if I didnt feel like my eyelids were gonna fall off from stairing at this screen I would stay on but it it Nighty Night time for me. Till tomorrow my loyal readers.

Here is a preview of a few of the bows I have made. They are one of a kinds, I never measure them either the way I see it is nothing is perfect and if it was perfect then it wouldn't be art. So yes there are a few flaws nothing major and you cant even notice once they are in your childs hair. I hope you all enjoy!

Painting for the wall

So I made this painting for a friend. It is her and her husbands initials. The colors I used matched her master bedroom decor, and she hung it over her bed. This was a custom order. I am going to start tonight on a painting for my little girls bathroom, I'm thinking abstract ....guess we will see !

All kids need a stool! Right?

Here is a stool I painted for my little girls. They use it in the bathroom so the can reach the sink to brush their teeth.

Hairbows

So I have been making hairbows now for my 4 little girls, and people keep asking if I am going to start selling them. HMMMM.... questions I ask myself. 1) Are people gonna buy them? 2) Is it going to be worth it? Well I answered those and I feel like it may be a good idea but I may do a test run just to see.

Painting?

So today I went out and bought my first blank canvas and some paints, I am hoping to start making some paintings for my house and maybe even selling some depending on how well they turn out. I am super excited and cant wait for the kids to go to bed, so I begin trying it out. I also have an order due for the hand painted kids names. Its a CARS theme. Well TaTa for now.

My first blog

Well today is my first post to this site, and I am super excited to be here. I love painting, and I hand paint children's names for their rooms as a profession/hobby. I am also a mother to 4 girls, married to a man in the Army, and attempting to get a job at the local jail as a correctional officer, also going to school for a science degree.
